West Town Primary Academy, Cambridgeshire
Since opening as an Academy, West Town Primary has restructured its teaching team to provide smaller class sizes for many of our children, which enables a greater amount of quality first teaching to take place.

We are fortunate enough to have a team of good and outstanding teachers who through bespoke in house training are helping to develop the next generation of teachers in partnership with our Meridian Trust teaching school.
The brief/project:
West Town Primary Academy based in Peterborough approached ESP to come out and quote for some outdoor seating and an outdoor shade sail. The school also wanted to utilise some of their larger trees to be used for tree seats/benches and some quiet zones. They also wanted to ensure their EYFS outdoor provision had some shelter, therefore ESP installed a lovely shade sail for the children to play under and keep sheltered.
The Outcome:
The children have lots of different zones where they can sit down and socialise with their friends, they can use the outdoor seating zones for lessons and also take small groups of children into the areas for some outdoor learning. All of our products are made from laminated timber and are a great product to use if you are looking for a natural looking playground.
