Sunnyside Spencer Academy , Nottingham

Sunnyside Spencer Academy is another school in the Spencer Academy Trust. The school had an existing field that was often utilised for forest school activities but they wanted to enhance this and create a more functional space.

Resurfacing the area to create a space that could be utilised all year round we added areas for messy play, den making, a story telling area and a large shelter that would be used as an outdoor classroom/breaktime space. By adding the different zones we were able to introduce key areas of learning into the space.
