Steeple Bumpstead Primary School , Suffolk

This is fabulous example of a playground case study in Suffolk. Steeple Bumpsteads’ executive headteacher contacted ESP PLAY again after successfully  completing works to a playground at one of her schools. The vision was to evidence the experience of the 7 areas of learning through play using their outdoor resource in the best possible way.

Our amazing creative team came up with a variety of open ended ideas and products to utilise throughout the area. A combination of surfaces such as artificial grass and block paving introduce a beautiful tactile experience for the children. Some of the products specifically selected for this area were Jungle Bars to target the upper body and fine motor skills, open ended movable blocks, a Mud Kitchen, a Water wall and many more as you can see throughout the images.

The teaching staff said “I can’t even begin to tell you how happy we are with our new outdoor area.  It is everything we had wished for!  Thank you for listening to our wishes and making the dream a reality!  The children are extremely excited and everything you installed has already made a massive difference to the quality of their learning.  Thank you so much.
