Scraptoft Day Nursery Playground in Leicester

Following on from the successful installation at Syston Day Nursery, Sarah invited ESP to bid for the works at her 2^nd nursery setting.

Scraptoft Day Nursery which is situated in impressive grounds presented very little structured play and opportunity for children to utilise the space all year round. The generous grass footprint on inspection presented area of inert waste and numerous hollows and depressions across the entire space. The key to this installation was appropriate base preparation and a suitable depth of MOT sub-base. Crucial elements which were missing from her previous installation, which subsequently lead to its premature failure.

We installed approx. 250sqm of 40mm pile height artificial grass, which now offers a flat, level playing surface which is now free from standing water during inclement weather. In addition to this we supplied a bespoke play tower, replicating the unit which has proved to be an overwhelming success at Syston Day Nursery, a small trim trail to add extra activities, a story telling chair and a playhut.

Sarah and her team are delighted with the finished detail and the levels of service demonstrated from consultation through to project completion.
