Salmestone Primary School, Kent

Salmestone Primary School (part of The Kemnal Academies Trust) is a Primary, Co-Ed school located in Kent, South East.
Their mission is to “Shape the Future of Young Minds.” They want to give the children the academic and interpersonal skills they need to succeed in life. The school have completed numerous upgrades and the outdoor space was just one of them.
The playground had an old, worn trim trail with wetpour safety surfacing that was lifting and was no longer fit for purpose. They wanted to remove and replace this to give the children something to increase physical activity for all abilities. They had seen our Tangled Wood range on our website and were keen to get something for £20,000 including surfacing. This was to be suitable for ages 4-11.
We created 3 options for the school which all sat in the budget figure which also included the removal of the existing equipment and surfacing. The school opted for our Tangled Wolf structure with new black wetpour and are really pleased with the completed works.
