The Brief
ESP PLAY received an enquiry from Newbridge Preparatory School, located on the outskirts of Wolverhampton within a beautiful Victorian house dating back to the 1850s. Although the school benefits from extensive and picturesque grounds, the existing outdoor space lacked suitable play equipment to actively engage pupils during breaktimes and lunchtimes.

Our Solution
Following a site consultation and walkthrough of the grounds, ESP PLAY developed a phased playground scheme that aligned with the school’s fundraising goals, allowing the project to progress without the need for a large upfront investment.

The design focused on creating several distinct play zones, each featuring different styles of climbing equipment to engage pupils across all age ranges. All equipment was carefully selected and bespoke-designed to complement the school’s picturesque grounds while remaining fully aligned with the available budget.
