This is an SEN school for children and young people who have complex needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties or who have been removed from mainstream school.
Location: Birmingham
To provide an outlet for physical development and increased activity for children aged 7-18yrs. & to create a space for quiet reflection and shelter. The children required self-initiated structured activities due to their complex needs so it was agreed outdoor gym equipment and a dedicated zone for ball play would be best suited to the pupils needs.
Michelle (Headteacher) is delighted with the end result and commended our service levels from initial enquiry through to completion of works. She has noticed a marked improvement in behaviour now that the children have more purposeful break times. The outdoor gym equipment and calisthenic unit has been a triumph.
