Loughton Manor Primary School in Milton Keynes contacted ESP Play and asked if we could create a bespoke performance stage for their children in KS1 & KS2.

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

It wasn’t any ordinary stage, they wanted a performance stage that looked liked the West End in London! ESP created a stage made from laminated timber and now the children can engage by performing, acting, singing and dancing. ESP installed this stage in the January 2022 and within two months the school contacted ESP again and wanted to see if we could create a bespoke play tower made from laminated timber for their EYFS playground. Within the space of 6 months from the initial contact we had now installed two projects for Loughton Manor Primary School.

The Outcome

The children now have an amazing performance stage to create a variety of different creative movements for play times, lunchtime and during school lessons. The rubber mulch surfacing is a great way for the children to access the stage all year round.

The EYFS children now have a beautiful play tower for the children to develop their gross and fine motor skills by climbing up and moving across the different platforms to help the children to learn and grow. We also installed a bright blue wetpour play surface for the children to be able to use the play tower all year round.
