Location: Saffron Walden
Katherine Semar Infant School approached ESP to improve their existing EYFS outdoor space which was a disjointed patchwork of surfaces and had dated, non-compliant equipment. The main features of the design include: a bespoke climbing unit and sensory roadway to challenge and improve the children’s physical development, open ended frames for den making, artificial grass surfacing for all weather play and messy play equipment such as a magnetic water wall and sandpit.
Feedback
“ESP Play interpreted the requirements of the school perfectly with the amazing design. They made tweaks to the plans to meet the budget needs and made suggestions on how to challenge the children and make best use of the space. The service and communications from initial enquiry to completion were excellent. The children love the new outdoor space we are delighted with the completed works.”
