Hunter Hall School
A Google search led Paul to the ESP Play website, from there, he submitted an enquiry using our online form and was quickly contacted by a member of our team. A meeting with the North West representative was arranged at which they discussed the various issues and obstacles that the school needed to overcome with two outdoor spaces.
Location: Penrith
The first, more pressing issue, was the outdoor area for the Pre-School. After some equipment had been removed and left holes in the wet pour surface, a new rubber tiled surface had been installed over the top as a solution to covering up the holes but the tiles were not suitable for outdoor use and had warped and lifted when exposed to the elements making them even more hazardous than the patched up holes they were put down to cover.
The school wanted a roadway for the children to ride their bikes but the budget was tight so we had to be clever, we advised the school to take up the rubber tiles so that we could utilise the existing black wet pour underneath for the roadway and we would then surface the remainder of the area with artificial grass.
It was the perfect solution; cost effective, functional, aesthetically pleasing and it removed the trip hazard of the rubber tiles. To top it all off, the installation was completed in less than one day!
Paul provided the following feedback on completion of the project “Yes, we are very pleased! The whole process was incredibly straightforward from start to finish, which is incredibly helpful when you’re in a school and it’s not always easy to find a spare five minutes!
Thank you for all your help. We are just thinking about how to raise the money for the second part of the project…”
We very much look forward to working with the school again for Phase Two.
