Rise Academy Trust invest in a New Playground in Coventry. Higham on the Hill CE Primary part of Rise Multi Academy Trust who originally reached out to ESP PLAY following on from an independent playground inspection which was carried out on their existing school trim trail. It had failed on numerous counts, resulting in the playground structures being condemned.
Having thoroughly examined the school trim trail (which was only 10 years old – NOT ESP PLAY’s) it was evident any necessary repairs were not economically viable. This school trim trail represented a significant investment for the school and the 10 year life span, coupled with no aftersales support from its original manufacturer, tarnished their perceptions of timber play equipment.
Amy was keen to explore steel options but as an existing customer felt reassured by our service levels and our superior timber specification, so we settled on a new wooden climbing unit with KS1 focus in mind.
She wanted the new playground equipment to be non-prescriptive, open ended and with the potential to add to when budget permitted. Our tangled range was the perfect fit and the children are delighted with the addition. The new playground feature will be in full swing when the new turf is laid over the summer holidays and has adequate time to establish.
