Cowbit St Mary’s Primary School, Linconshire

Cowbit St Mary’s Primary School based in Spalding in the county of Lincolnshire contacted The Playground Experts ESP PLAY to see if we would be able to transform their EYFS playground.

The brief was to turn their old, tired playground into a more natural, open and creative zone.

ESP PLAY installed a bespoke free standing canopy with a chalkboard within the frame for the children to take the learning outside of the classroom and under shelter, meaning they can use the area all year round. Artificial grass surfacing was installed across the whole area, with a bespoke Tree Hut. The school already had a pathway down which was uneven and unsafe, we decided to turn this into a wetpour safety surface for the children to be able to walk, run and skip along safely!

The children now have a engaging, and creative area to use all year round!
