Birdham CE Primary School, Chichester

Birdham CE Primary School is a church school for boys and girls aged 4-11, situated in Chichester, West Sussex. They work hard as a staff team to ensure that each child is happy, secure and ready to learn. They place great emphasis on the working partnerships between governors, teachers, parents and children to ensure the highest standards possible. And as a church school, maintain close links with St James Church, the close-knit community, and various local charities.

The school had an existing area of grass that was a blank, redundant space which they wanted to develop to incorporate some climbing equipment to increase physical activity. As we had previously installed a ballcatcher and playground marking at the school they contacted us to assist them with this new project.

The school really liked our unique FreeFlow Climbing structures, specifically the largest one in the range. As budgets wouldn’t allow for the largest unit including the surfacing we came up with a bespoke option designed specifically for the school which they could add to over time when budgets allow. The school are thrilled with the end result and the children love it.
