The school were looking to add an assault course, roundabout, trampoline and a play cabin to the year 7 site. This site was supposed to be temporary which was why this was not developed however, as this became permanent they wanted to provide a much-needed area for physical development for the children.

Belvue School is a special school that caters for the needs of secondary aged pupils with learning difficulties and associated communication, behavioural, sensory and physical needs.

The assault course includes a tunnel, log pass, log weave, log steps and a wobbly bridge. We even included blue ropes where possible to incorporate the school colour. Our Hive from our WildWood range proved to be popular with the children which acts as their play cabin and or seating area to just relax in. The roundabout and trampoline are set in clearly defined zones both installed to rubber mulch surfacing. The existing path also acts as a trail through the area.

The installation has completely changed breaktimes for the children.
