Robina Nest Swing

Swing together, naturally. A robinia nest swing built for shared play in public spaces.

The Robinia Nest Swing combines the natural beauty of robinia wood with the timeless fun of a nest swing. Its sturdy A-frame legs are made from robinia, a timber prized for its strength and natural resistance to the outdoors, and joined by a robust steel crossbeam. The result is a striking, long-lasting swing that blends beautifully into parks, schools, natural play areas and public open spaces.

Designed for children aged 3 to 12, the large oval nest seat, with its padded rim and woven net base, gives children room to swing together. Up to 7 children can use the swing at once, sitting, lying back or sharing the ride with friends, which makes it a sociable, inclusive alternative to a traditional swing seat. Children who find a standard seat difficult can lie or sit comfortably in the nest, so more children can enjoy the gentle, rhythmic motion of swinging.

Swinging helps develop balance, coordination and spatial awareness, while the shared seat encourages cooperation, turn-taking and social play. The calming motion also makes the nest swing a popular choice for sensory play.
