Little Deer Play Tower
Little Deer Play Tower
The Little Deer Play Tower is an expansive, low-level timber play structure designed for younger children — combining generous scale with age-appropriate challenge. Its extended linear layout spreads play across a wide footprint, encouraging children to journey between towers rather than compete for a single point of interest.
Three towers linked by traverse challenges
Three pitched-roof towers are connected by rope bridges and traversing elements, creating a continuous route from one end of the structure to the other. Because the challenge is horizontal rather than steeply vertical, the Little Deer suits early years and lower primary children who are still developing confidence, balance and coordination. There's a clear beginning, middle and end to the journey something young children find genuinely motivating.
Varied access and gentle descent
A cargo climbing net and stepped access points offer contrasting ways to reach the decks, while a straight slide provides a rewarding, confidence-building descent. Panels and openings at deck level add points of interest along the route and invite pausing, looking out and playing in place.
Rich play value for younger children
The Little Deer supports physical development through climbing, balancing and traversing; imaginative play within its sheltered tower spaces; and social play as children follow each other along the route, take turns and play alongside one another. Its width means several children can play simultaneously without crowding a real advantage in busy nursery and infant settings.
UK manufactured, built to last
Constructed from laminated timber and manufactured in the UK, the Little Deer is engineered for dimensional stability and a long service life. Laminated sections resist the warping and splitting associated with solid timber, keeping maintenance minimal and total cost of ownership low. Modular construction allows the layout to be specified to suit your site, and every unit is manufactured in full compliance with applicable playground safety standards.
