Hampton Infant School and Nursery – Hampton – Richmond-upon-Thames, Twickenham

The new play tower and trim trail installed at Hampton Infant School and Nursey has transformed the playground.

Helen, the Headteacher, contacted us with the intention of replacing the small trim trail and play tower in the infant playground. The area needed some levelling to ensure it was even with the surrounding tarmac.

The current area featured an elevated wooden border, presenting a risk of tripping.

The former castle unit, five-piece trim trail, and astro turf have been removed. Our team have replaced with a bespoke play tower, a streamlined trim trail and rubber mulch surfacing. This new play tower includes bridges, ramps, stairs, a slide, and a fireman’s pole. This provides a variety of activities and several access and exit points. Additionally, the trim trail offers balance challenges and has the capacity to accommodate a greater number of children for play.

The outdated and worn equipment has been replaced with high-quality climbing equipment. Moreover, the entire area has been revitalized with new surfacing and is now level with the adjacent tarmac.

The staff are extremely pleased with the services and work provided during the entire process. Most importantly, the children are thoroughly enjoying the new space.
