Project Brief – Development of a Garden Zone/ Discovery Zone

The existing playground at Hilton Primary School was worn down from years of play and wanted to add some new and exciting zones to their reception area. The school asked ESP to create zones that were focused on nature and discovery as well as an area for physical development. We gave them just that and created a sensory garden laid to artificial grass, with planters and a story telling area. We also included an element of messy play with a sand pit, mud kitchen and water wall. We enhanced their physical development resources with a the tangled laid to wetpour with a roadway running around the edge.
